I highly recommend this amazing spot for a feed, any time of day! The atmosphere, the service and the food are all out of this world. We will be back, this will probably become one of those spots we show all of our friends.
What an eclectic restaurant. The atmosphere has you looking around and admiring every nook and cranny. The ambiance is also nice to soak in. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating. The kitchen cook openly and their etiquette with communication between other staff was great to see. The food was simply amazing, delicious with every dip and every bite. Mild in spice and was manageable, and strong if you desire. The butter chicken turned me into a cave man, just dived in with fingers due to its delicious sauce, to top off the night the desert was top tier. If you join the dumpling and the ice cream together it increases that tenfold. Perfect for a date night, not so much kid friendly (kids are welcome and they do amazing deals for kids, but I couldn't see young kids happy sitting in one spot, basically no play area for them) but perfect to wine and dine. The added advantage of share foods also sparks conversation between one another and in some cases makes you put down the phone and be human, that's and experience money can't buy. Seven of us made the trip to Kyneton specifically to eat at Dhaba. The banquet dinner was outstanding … as expected. Amazing food and friendly service is absolutely worth the drive, as always
We had dinner here for the first time on Friday, 27 March. We decided on the set menu which provides a great selection of dishes. The ambience, food and service was great. We highly recommend and will definitely return.
Overall, a good experience at Dhaba at the Mill. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Most of the food was good, but the prantha was disappointing — it wasn’t made in the tandoor and seemed like a ready‑made roti, served warm and rolled in aluminium foil. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable. 👍
Ignore the miseries in the previous two reviews. I was actually there tonight and heard one of these patrons going off and threatening the staff with bad reviews. Sure they had run out of Butter Chicken, but it's BS that the curries are all sauce. I had the lamb and beef curries and plenty of meat. Plus this is all you can eat for $25. Get real. A one star review is pure spite. Plus one of these reviewers conveniently forgot to mention that the staff gave the table the drinks for free as an apology for no chicken (I was seated next to the till so witnessed this).
Super friendly and attentive staff, and the food was phenomenal. Would recommend the lamb curry, but my vegetarian partner was very happy with the selection as well. 👍🏻 Great vibe/atmosphere in the restaurant too, gorgeous old mill building.

Great experience!! Yesterday i went at the dhaba with my wife and we tried the set menu and get alot of dishes to try. The balls of happiness really makes us happy as well as the butter chicken was amazing. We cant appreciate any single thing of dhaba, all the food was nice and also the staff has welcoming nature , not only the front but also the kitchen one. We recommend every single person to go at dhaba and feel like they are in heaven❤️. Great place for enjoying special moments.
